About Me

My name is Marek, and I’m a backend-focused software engineer based in the Netherlands.

I specialize in Python, API development, and data-driven systems, with a strong emphasis on security and clean architecture. I approach software as a product — not just code — focusing on building systems that are reliable, understandable, and useful in real-world scenarios.

Before moving into engineering, I spent over a decade working in international business development and risk management. This experience continues to shape how I design systems today — with attention to risk, compliance, and operational realities, especially in domains like finance and data protection.

My current work focuses on building backend platforms and tools that combine data ingestion, automation, and analysis — often connected to real-world decisions such as security, privacy, or environmental conditions. I work daily with Python, Linux, and cloud technologies, continuously refining my approach to system design and scalability.

I also bring a strong international perspective — I speak seven languages and have worked across multiple countries and industries. This helps me connect technical solutions with broader business and human contexts.

NubeCode is where I build and experiment — turning ideas into practical systems, exploring new directions, and developing products that can stand on their own.
